Ep 9. Stuck in the Middle with You

Adam (played by Matt LeBlanc) and his wife Andi (played by Liza Snyder) are caught in the middle of a feud between two of their neighbors when they accidentally decide to put their kids in the same class. The two neighbors, Lowell (played by Matt Cook) and his wife Jen (played by Jessica Chaffin) were once friends with Adam and Andi, but they've been feuding over a fence dispute.

Adam and Andi try their best to stay neutral, but Lowell and Jen both come to the couple for advice on how to deal with the other. Meanwhile, Adam tries to keep his father Joe (played by Stacy Keach) from finding out about a minor car accident he got into while driving Joe's car.

As tensions rise between the two neighbors, Adam and Andi find themselves stuck in the middle. They try to come up with a solution that doesn't involve taking sides, but things only seem to get worse.

At the same time, Adam's brother Don (played by Kevin Nealon) tries to convince Adam to invest in his new business venture, a line of non-alcoholic cocktails. But Adam is skeptical of the idea, and struggles to reject the proposal without hurting Don's feelings.
