Ep 2. Knowhere to Run

In Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy season 1 episode 2 "Knowhere to Run," the team of unlikely heroes continue their journey through the galaxy in search of adventure and treasure. The episode begins with the team arriving at Knowhere, a space station located in the center of the universe. They are hoping to find a buyer for a powerful weapon they recently acquired, but things quickly take a turn for the worse.

Upon arrival, the Guardians are immediately attacked by a group of scavengers who are after the same weapon. After a thrilling fight sequence, the team is able to fend off their attackers and make their way to the station's marketplace to find a buyer. However, they soon realize that they are being followed by a mysterious figure, who turns out to be the Collector, the eccentric and dangerous cosmic entity from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Collector reveals that he is interested in purchasing the weapon from the Guardians, but he also has a proposition for them. He informs the team that there is a dangerous creature living inside Knowhere that needs to be captured. The creature, known as a "Gothrox," has the ability to absorb all matter around it, which makes it a valuable resource for the Collector's collection. He promises the team a large sum of money if they are able to capture the creature.

The team agrees to the mission and sets off to find the Gothrox. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles and challenges, including a group of dangerous space pirates and a deadly asteroid field. Despite these setbacks, the Guardians are able to track down the creature and successfully capture it.

But their success is short-lived, as the Collector double-crosses the team and attempts to take the weapon and the Gothrox for himself. A chaotic fight breaks out, with the Guardians using their skills and powers to take on the Collector and his minions. In the end, the team is able to defeat the Collector and escape with the weapon and the Gothrox.

The episode concludes with the Guardians departing Knowhere, their mission accomplished but their future uncertain. As they blast off into the vastness of space, it's clear that their adventures are far from over.
