Ep 9. Thanksgiving

As a young adult, Alex thinks he's found love with Nori. Though things are going well between them, Alex's Thanksgiving plans with his girlfriend and daughter quickly falls apart after his ex-wife and her new boyfriend invite themselves over for dinner. Alex tries to cope with his feelings of anger and jealousy, but ultimately finds himself stuck in the middle of a battle between his two families. Meanwhile, in the present day, middle-aged Alex struggles to get into the holiday spirit despite his daughter's best efforts to cheer him up. When he reconnects with his old friend, Darryl, Alex begins to realize just how much he has to be grateful for in his life. Finally, in the future, 65-year-old Alex tries to celebrate Thanksgiving with his family, but tensions run high as they all struggle to maintain their connections to one another. As he reflects on his life and the people in it, Alex begins to understand just how important family truly is.
