- September 17, 2015
Messy, the curious and adventurous monster, is back for an exciting new episode of Messy Goes to Okido season 1. In episode 9 titled "A Rainy Sunny Day," Messy and his friends take on a new mission to make it sunny on a rainy day.
As the episode begins, the Okido gang is enjoying their day when suddenly, the weather takes a turn for the worse. Gray clouds cover the sun, and it starts to pour with rain. Messy, Zoe, Felix, and their robot friend, Zim, are disappointed that they cannot play outside anymore. But Messy refuses to let the rain dampen their spirits. He suggests that they can make the rain stop and bring back the sunshine.
The group decides to investigate the weather and find out what's causing it to rain so much. They soon discover that the cause of the rain is a cloud with a hole in it. Because it has a hole, water has been pouring out of the cloud non-stop, causing the continuous rainfall. Messy and his friends realize that they need to find a way to close the hole in the cloud to make the rain stop and bring back the sun.
To fix the cloud, the group needs to locate it first. After brainstorming, they come up with a plan and use their ingenuity to create a giant telescope made out of materials lying around. They also add a few of their high-tech gadgets to the telescope, and it becomes an impressive telescope, allowing them to zoom in and see the cloud.
Once they see the cloud with the hole in it, they come up with different ideas on how to fix it. They try patching it up with various materials, but it doesn't work. They then decide to make an entirely new cloud and place it on top of the old cloud. To make a new cloud, they gather ingredients, including bubbles, shaving cream, and candy floss.
With the weather changing rapidly, the gang realizes they have to act fast before the new cloud formation produces thunder and lightning. As they work diligently to create the new cloud, the old cloud releases a massive storm with thunder and lightning. They finally finish the new cloud, and Messy goes on to replace the old cloud with the one they created.
And finally, the moment of truth arrives, and they see their handiwork is successful. The sun shines through the patchwork cloud they created. Everyone is overjoyed, and Messy feels proud of himself. All the hard work and ingenuity has paid off, and the Okido gang can now enjoy their day in the sunshine.
