Milo Murphy, the eternal optimist who believes that anything that can go wrong will go wrong, faces yet another day with that famous Murphy's Law on his side. It is up to Milo, Sara, Melissa, and Zack to find Mr. Bacon, return it to Sara, and also make it to the festival in time.

Meanwhile, the competition in the festival is also heating up. Candace, who is still unaware of her brother's curse, is determined to win the competition, despite her lack of cooking skills. In her cafe, notorious for serving boiled hot dogs, she decides to unveil her new dish: "chip fried lard." However, the other competitors, who include a group of chefs from all over the world, are not impressed.

As Milo undergoes his adventure, he meets up with various eccentric and colorful characters that add to the show's excitement. For example, there's Brigette Murphy, Milo's great-grandmother who is 100 years old and still incredibly sharp. She runs the family legacy called the Murphy Home, where she has a team of assistants who specialize in cleaning up after whatever disaster arises.

As the episode progresses, the tension rises as Milo and his friends still haven't found Mr. Bacon. The audience is left wondering if they will ever be able to take care of the pig and also make it to the festival on time. As people at the festival start to get restless, Candace feels the pressure to perform even better but is continuously let down by the quality of her lard options.
