Milo Murphy's Law is a hilarious animated TV show that follows the day-to-day adventures of Milo Murphy, an optimist who has a peculiar talent for attracting disaster and his friends, who help him navigate through calamities. The second season of the show features episode 21 named "First Impressions," which revolves around Milo and his best friend Zack trying to make a lasting impression on the new girl in their school, Jackie.

The episode begins with Milo and Zack's usual morning routine, which consists of avoiding impending doom as they walk to school. However, this day is different as they spot a new girl, Jackie, who is moving into their school district. They are immediately smitten by her and decide that they need to make a lasting impression on her to win her over. While Milo thinks that they should showcase their unique abilities, like avoiding a meteor shower, Zack suggests that they should show their sensitive sides by volunteering at a charity event.

As they debate their plan of action, they bump into their classmate Melissa, who is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge on everything related to Jackie. They realize that they need Melissa's help to impress Jackie and ask her to join their team. Thus begins the trio's quest to make a great first impression and stand out from the pack.

Their first attempt is at the charity event where they volunteer to be part of a cleaning crew. However, their joyous effort is ruined when Milo's innate talent for disaster strikes, and they accidentally end up covering the entire park in foam. Although they manage to clean up their mess, Zack feels like they didn't make a good impression on Jackie. However, Melissa reminds them that the true test of a lasting impression is being remembered, and they have certainly achieved that.

The trio's second attempt is at the school science fair where they decide to showcase Milo's gadgets, including a device that can teleport him to different parts of the world. However, as they are setting up, they notice that Jackie is spending more time with Bradley Nicholson, the school's resident jock. This puts a damper on their spirits, and they lose focus, causing another disaster as Milo's gadget malfunctions and teleports Zack and Melissa to Antarctica.

Despite these setbacks, the group is determined to keep trying and show Jackie what they are made of. Their final attempt is during the school's talent show, where they perform a musical number about their friendship. The song is a heartwarming tribute to their bond, and they put all their energy into making it a memorable performance. However, they are once again interrupted when Murphy's Law strikes, causing chaos on stage. The performance ends with Jackie and the audience covered in paint, and the trio leaving the auditorium in defeat.

As they walk through the school halls, they run into Jackie, who stops them and thanks them for the amazing day. She tells them that she admires their carefree attitude towards life and their willingness to keep trying despite their mishaps. Milo, Zack, and Melissa are ecstatic, realizing that Jackie has been paying attention to them all along. They feel like they've finally made a lasting impression on her, and they part ways with a newfound confidence.

The episode ends with Milo, Zack, and Melissa walking out of the school with their heads held high and a sense of accomplishment. They have learned an important lesson about being themselves and not trying to fit in with others. They realize that they have unique strengths and talents that make them who they are and that it's essential to embrace these qualities to make a good impression. The episode leaves the audience with a heartwarming message about friendship, individuality, and perseverance.
