In the season 2 premiere of Miracle Workers titled "Graduation," we are introduced to a new setting and a new set of characters. The show takes on a completely different direction from the first season as we are transported to the medieval era where we get to meet a new cast of entertaining and quirky characters.

Set in the small village of Shitshoveler, the story revolves around the graduating class of peasants who train diligently to become knights. Geraldine Viswanathan, playing Alexandra Shitshoveler who works at the Royal Society for the Betterment of People’s Lives, is tasked with overseeing the knight-training program in the hopes of making the townspeople more productive and aggressive. The program seems to be failing, and Alexandra, who's up for a promotion, wants to show the management team that she's up to the task of improving the town.

The central theme of the episode revolves around growing up, facing your fears and finding your calling. Alexandra's character serves as an example of someone who struggles to find her place in society, yet she's tasked with the responsibility of training a bunch top students who are ready to face and overcome their fears. At the start of the episode, they're all afraid of being labeled as failures, but with help from Alexandra, they soon learn to face their fears head-on.

The episode takes a comedic take on the classic underdog story to produce a show that is both hilarious and heartwarming. The quirky and fun antics of Alexandra are refreshing and help to keep the show's light atmosphere that pairs well with the more formal and serious medieval setting. The show's humor is top-notch and is reminiscent of the first season's more outlandish bits.

The show's pacing is frantic and fast, with jokes and one-liners that come at lightning speed, making it hard to keep up at times. However, this fast pace keeps the show from getting bogged down by too much exposition and allows it to introduce all the new characters quickly. It creates an environment where each scene is more ridiculous than the last, culminating in a final scene that's both ridiculous and rewarding.

Overall, the season 2 premiere of Miracle Workers titled "Graduation" is an excellent introduction to the show's new setting and cast of characters. The episode is absurdly funny, heartwarming, and full of some of the most creative and outlandish scenes on television. It's clear that this season is going to take us on a wild and hilarious ride.
