Ep 14. Leather Cribs and Medieval Rack

Christy and Bonnie are out looking at apartments together when they happen upon a beautiful new building. Looking for a way to avoid the juvenile antics of their current living situation, they decide to take a tour of the building, hoping to find their new home. After meeting their seemingly perfect neighbor, Greg, the ladies decide that it is worth the extra money to rent a unit in the complex.

Upon moving in, they are extremely impressed with the apartment's luxurious features, but soon realize that they may have traded their old problems for new ones. One of the challenges they face is the building manager, who they quickly realize is less than helpful. They also begin to discover more about their seemingly perfect neighbor, Greg, who turns out to be not so perfect after all.

Meanwhile, the ladies' children are also dealing with their own issues. Christy’s son, Roscoe, is struggling with his own sense of identity when he tells his mother that he wants to start dressing in women's clothing. Baffled by her son's sudden desire to cross-dress, Christy turns to Bonnie for support.

Bonnie is dealing with her own troubles as well. Having recently suffered a back injury, Bonnie is experiencing back pain that is almost unbearable. As a result, she begins seeking out alternative forms of pain relief such as acupuncture. During one of her visits, she meets a man who introduces her to the medieval rack, a form of torture that is said to be a great way to alleviate back pain.

As the episode progresses, the ladies' experiences in their new home continue to deteriorate. Despite the luxurious amenities, they are increasingly surrounded by tension and unease. When they discover that their neighbor Greg is harboring a dark secret, they must decide whether to confront him or keep quiet and try to avoid him.

In the end, the ladies discover that they may have been better off in their old apartment. Despite its flaws, it was still a place where they felt safe and comfortable. As they contemplate their next move, both Christy and Bonnie realize that they don't necessarily need a fancy new apartment to be happy.
