Ep 18. Beast Mode And Old People Kissing

Back at the restaurant, Christy is preoccupied with Griffin and keeps checking her phone. A fellow waitress sees her and tells her that she is not in a healthy spot to be dating, and it is revealed that Christy's previous date raped her the year before.

The next day, Christy reveals to Bonnie that she had a rough night, and Bonnie suggests she talks to her friends in Alcoholics Anonymous about it. The conversation leads to Bonnie admitting she has trust issues and is worried about Adam finding someone else.

Adam and the trainer decide on a hike as part of his exercise. Bonnie expresses her concern, but Adam insists he is fine despite being out of breath quickly. However, he soon starts to feel dizzy and collapses. As they wait for the ambulance, Adam admits to Bonnie that he is scared and that his chest pains are back.

Back at the restaurant, Christy runs into Griffin and his girlfriend. She confronts him and tells him that he should have been honest with her. She then tells him that they cannot be friends.

The episode ends with Adam being rushed to the hospital, and Bonnie trying to calm him down by using a meditation technique she learned at a spa. Christy decides to take action and confronts her attacker.
