Ep 4. Curious George and the Big Red Nightmare

Christy (Anna Faris) is feeling overwhelmed with her schoolwork and recovery program while also being a mother to her teenage daughter, Violet (Sadie Calvano). She confides in her sponsor, Marjorie (Mimi Kennedy), about her struggles, but Marjorie is dealing with her own emotional issues as she tries to reconnect with her estranged son.

Meanwhile, Bonnie (Allison Janney) decides to take up a new hobby: painting. She enlists the help of Adam (William Fichtner) to teach her the basics, but quickly becomes obsessed with her new passion. As she spends more and more time painting, her relationship with Adam begins to suffer.

When Christy decides to take a break from her studies to spend time with her friends, she learns that one of them is having trouble in her marriage. As she tries to help her friend through her difficulties, she realizes that she may not be ready to handle the challenges of a serious relationship herself.

As tensions rise between Bonnie and Adam, Christy tries to bring them back together, but her efforts only seem to make things worse.
