Rae's life seems to be looking up after her date with Liam. However, things take a turn when she discovers that her mother is dating Liam's father. Determined to put a stop to their relationship, Rae enlists the help of her friends to distract her mother from Liam's dad. Meanwhile, Kester has some shocking news for Rae – he's leaving the clinic. Rae is devastated, but Kester assures her that she's ready to face the real world and the challenges that lie ahead. Elsewhere, Finn opens up to Rae about his own insecurities, and the two bond over their shared experiences of self-doubt and anxiety.
