Back at home, Claire discovers that her mother has given her room to a homeless man named Rufus. However, she soon discovers that Rufus is a kind-hearted man who loves singing and that he is not a threat to her safety.

As the episode progresses, Michael and Richard continue to compete for the position of Chairman of the Board. Michael's idea to increase profits is a huge success and he impresses the board members. However, Richard is not one to give up easily and he tries to sabotage Michael's chances by exposing a mistake he made in the past.
