Ep 16. Man of the Year

Michael decides to participate in his company's "Man of the Year" award competition. He believes that he deserves the award and is confident that he will win. However, his family is not so sure about his chances. Janet, his wife, thinks that he is overconfident and needs to tone down his expectations. The kids, especially Junior, think that he is too old-fashioned and does not know what young people want.

Michael sets out to impress his colleagues and bosses by arranging for a double date with Junior and his girlfriend, Vanessa. However, the date turns out to be a disaster, with Michael and Junior embarrassing themselves in front of Vanessa and her father. Michael then tries to impress his bosses by organizing a charity event, but again things do not go according to plan. He ends up getting into a fight with a rival candidate, who accuses him of stealing his ideas.

Meanwhile, Claire and her friends try to raise money for their school trip by selling candy bars. They set up a booth outside the house, but nobody seems to be interested in buying their candy. Claire comes up with a plan to dress up and attract customers, but she ends up attracting the wrong kind of attention.

As the day of the "Man of the Year" award ceremony approaches, Michael becomes more nervous and unsure of himself. He realizes that he may not be the perfect man that he thinks he is, and that his family's opinions matter more than anything else. In the end, Michael learns a valuable lesson about humility and the importance of family, and he makes amends with his rival candidate.
