Ep 9. Sister Story

Michael Kyle is a successful businessman and family man, but his parenting techniques often border on the unorthodox. In Season 3 Episode 9, titled "Sister Story," Michael's sister, Debra, comes to visit the Kyles for Thanksgiving. Debra is Michael's polar opposite- she's a free spirit who is impulsive and carefree. Although Michael is excited to see his sister, his wife, Jay, is anything but thrilled.

Jay and Debra have always had a rocky relationship- Debra's carelessness often leaves Jay to clean up the mess. However, things take a turn for the worse when Debra decides to take a bath in their guest room and accidentally floods the bathroom, causing water to seep through the ceiling into their living room. Jay is understandably annoyed, and Michael is caught in the middle of trying to smooth things over between the two women.

As tensions rise, Michael realizes that there's a deep-rooted issue between his wife and his sister. Despite their differences, he knows that he needs to find a way for the two women in his life to get along. Michael decides to go to the root of the problem and figure out what caused their relationship to sour. With the help of his eldest daughter, Claire, Michael learns about a childhood incident that may have instigated their rift.
