In the tenth episode of the twenty-fourth season of "Mysteries at the Museum," entitled "Terror on the Tracks and More," host Don Wildman explores thrilling tales from the past ranging from shocking murders and unexpected discoveries to gruesome accidents and legendary conspiracies.

The first story takes place in 1910 when a train made its way along a trestle bridge in Louisiana. Suddenly, the tracks gave way, sending the locomotive and passenger cars hurtling toward the water below. The disaster claimed countless lives and left a lasting impact on the railroad industry. Wildman investigates how the tragedy occurred and the measures put in place to prevent a similar disaster from happening again.

Next, Wildman travels to the Florida Keys to learn about a pirate's last stand. In 1825, Captain Jacob Housman and his crew of pirates plundered several vessels before attacking a U.S. naval schooner. However, the assault quickly turned deadly when the naval crew fought back, leaving Housman and his men to face the wrath of the law. Wildman explores the final moments of Housman's pirate career and what happened to the ill-fated crew.

The third story leads Wildman to Oregon where he examines an unusual object found by a curious miner. In 1902, James L. Martin stumbled upon a strange rock formation in his mine containing a collection of seashells. The discovery challenged the beliefs of geologists and created controversy among the scientific community. As Wildman uncovers the truth about the strange specimen, he uncovers an astonishing chapter in geology history.

Moving on, Wildman digs into a dark chapter of U.S. history when he delves into the story of the Tuskegee Airmen. These African American pilots faced discrimination and segregation while fighting in World War II, yet their bravery and skill proved crucial to the war effort. Wildman explores how these unsung heroes impacted the war effort and their lasting legacy.

In his next investigation, Wildman uncovers a shocking murder that took place in one of the most haunted houses in America. In 1912, the Moore family and their two guests were brutally murdered with an axe while they slept in their Iowa home. Despite numerous suspects and investigations, the case remains unsolved to this day. Wildman walks through the crime scene and examines the evidence to see if he can uncover the truth.

Lastly, Wildman concludes his journey in California where he investigates the conspiracy behind a suspicious death. In 1947, Hollywood actress Thelma Todd was found dead in her car inside a garage. While police ruled the cause of death as accidental carbon monoxide poisoning, many suspected foul play, including rumors of organized crime involvement. Wildman digs into the case, exploring the evidence and examining the intriguing connections surrounding Todd's death.

Overall, "Mysteries at the Museum" season 24 episode 10 keeps viewers on the edge of their seats with thrilling tales of disaster, mystery, and intrigue, offering insight into some of history's most fascinating events and unsolved cases.
