Watch Through the Wormhole

Through the Wormhole, is a Science channel original series that is narrated by actor Morgan Freeman. This is a documentary style series that focuses on questions that science has not found an answer for yet but, are working on. Each show is approximately one hour in length.

Each episode begins with Morgan Freeman asking a question. These can range from what is on the other side of a black hole to if people are different depending on their race. Although the title would suggest that every question might be based on space, there are a number of different topics that are touched on besides space exploration.

Once a question is put forth at the beginning of an episode, Morgan usually finds some type of connection either through a child hood experience or something more current that happened to him. A set of actors gives a small portrait of what this connection looks like. Then the topic of the show is explored in depth by different scientist to see if they can find an answer to the question.

Scientist are interviewed and some do experiments to help determine what the answer could be. There are computer generated images that are used in some cases to give a representation to the discussed material. For example, one episode focused on the Big Bang Theory and if it really happened. Was it the explosion of a star or the release of particles from a black hole? Each scientist presents their theory and then you are left to consider what you think the true answer is.

Although there is no offensive material in this series, the subject matter can be difficult for children to comprehend. Some subject matter may also be considered sensitive to certain individuals. This is an adult geared science series.
