Crossword Code and Brushy Bill is the thirteenth episode of the seventh season of the popular series Mysteries at the Museum. In this episode, host Don Wildman takes viewers on a journey around the world, exploring fascinating artifacts in museums and uncovering the intriguing stories behind them.

The first artifact featured on the show is a crossword puzzle from the New York Times. While at first glance it may seem like an unremarkable piece of paper, this particular crossword puzzle was instrumental in cracking a code used by German spies during World War II. Don visits the National Cryptologic Museum in Maryland to learn more about the heroics of William Friedman, a codebreaker who worked for the American government during the war. With the help of this crossword puzzle, Friedman was able to decipher a code that would have helped the Germans win the war.

Next up is a pair of boots that once belonged to Brushy Bill Roberts, a man who claimed to be the notorious outlaw Jesse James. Don travels to the Alamo where Brushy Bill spent his final days to learn more about the man who was once the most wanted criminal in America. Was Brushy Bill really Jesse James, or was he just a clever con artist? Viewers will have to tune in to find out!

The third artifact featured on the show is a mysterious box found in a museum archive in Michigan. The box contained a collection of strange objects, including a lock of hair, a piece of string, and a tiny photograph. Don visits the Cranbrook Art Museum to uncover the story behind this unusual artifact. What was the purpose of the box, and who put it together?

In the fourth segment, Don travels to Illinois to investigate a peculiar machine known as the Ozma. Designed by a team of physicists in the 1960s, this machine was meant to search the stars for signs of extraterrestrial life. Don meets with the daughter of one of the scientists who worked on the project, and learns about the hopes and dreams that went into the creation of the Ozma.

The final artifact featured on the show is a fragment of a Tibetan prayer flag, found in a museum in Colorado. Don travels to Tibet to learn about the traditions and beliefs behind these colorful flags, which are hung outside homes and temples to bring good luck and ward off evil spirits.

As always, Mysteries at the Museum is an exciting and informative show that takes viewers on a journey through history and culture. From World War II codebreakers to legendary outlaws, this episode has something for everyone.
