Ep 2. Warrior of the Lost World

In this episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000, the crew is joined by a special guest, Joel's mom. They settle in to watch the 1983 Italian post-apocalyptic film "Warrior of the Lost World."
The movie follows the adventures of a lone warrior named "The Rider" who travels through a toxic wasteland on his motorcycle. Along the way, he meets a group of rebels fighting against the evil leader of this dystopian society, "Prossor," played by Donald Pleasence.
The crew of the Satellite of Love wastes no time poking fun at the movie's low production value and cheesy special effects. They also mock The Rider's questionable fashion choices, including his leather fringe jacket and inexplicable headband.
As the movie progresses, the gang is introduced to a series of bizarre and poorly explained plot elements including talking motorcycles, an android sidekick, and a giant glowing crystal which grants Prossor immortality. The jokes come fast and furious as the crew tries to make sense of the nonsensical plot.
Throughout the episode, Joel's mom becomes a hilarious addition to the riffing, offering her own witty commentary and teasing her son about his time traveling through space. She even gets to join in on the iconic MST3K invention exchange, showcasing her own homemade kitchen gadget.
As the movie and the episode come to a close, the crew delivers one final flurry of jokes, poking fun at the film's nonsensical ending and Prossor's hilariously over-the-top villainy.
Overall, "Warrior of the Lost World" is a prime example of the type of cheesy, low-budget films that Mystery Science Theater 3000 excels at riffing on. With the addition of Joel's mom as a guest riffing partner, this episode is a definite must-watch for fans of the show.
