Agent Dwayne Pride (played by Scott Bakula) is back in action on the latest episode of NCIS: New Orleans. In "My Brother's Keeper," the team is investigating the murder of a Navy lieutenant who was killed in the middle of a street festival.

Pride begins the episode by sitting in a church, presumably talking to a priest. We don't find out what they're discussing, but it's clear that Pride is upset about something. He tells the priest that he wants to confess, but the priest reminds him that he's not there to take his confession.

Meanwhile, Special Agent Christopher Lasalle (played by Lucas Black) is flirting with a woman at the street festival when they hear gunshots. They quickly realize that someone has been shot and killed, and Lasalle calls for backup.

When the team arrives on the scene, they find that the victim is a Navy lieutenant named Brandon Kelly. He was shot in broad daylight, and no one in the crowded street saw anything. Pride and his team quickly realize that this was a planned hit, and they start looking into Kelly's past to see if they can find any leads.

As they start investigating, they meet Kelly's brother, Justin. Justin is a former Navy SEAL, and he's clearly devastated by his brother's death. He and Brandon were very close, and Justin tells the team that he last saw his brother a few days ago when they were out sailing together.

The team starts digging into Brandon's military record to see if they can find any clues. They discover that he was on a mission in Afghanistan when he was captured by the Taliban. He was held prisoner for several months, and when he was finally rescued, he was severely injured.

They also learn that Brandon was involved in a top-secret program called "Project Enduring Freedom." The project was designed to train soldiers to fight in unconventional warfare situations, and Brandon was one of the top recruits.

As the team investigates further, they discover that Brandon's captain, who was also involved in Project Enduring Freedom, had died under suspicious circumstances a few months earlier. They start to wonder if there's a connection between the two deaths.

Meanwhile, Pride is still struggling with whatever is troubling him. He admits to his team that he's been having nightmares about his father, who was a judge in New Orleans when Pride was growing up. His father died when Pride was young, and he's always felt like he didn't get a chance to say goodbye.

The team starts to put the pieces together and they figure out who was responsible for Brandon's death. The killer is someone who was also involved in Project Enduring Freedom, and who had been holding a grudge against Brandon and his captain for years.

In the end, the team is able to capture the killer and bring him to justice. But despite their success, Pride is still struggling with his own demons. He goes back to the church and this time, the priest agrees to hear his confession.

Overall, "My Brother's Keeper" is an action-packed episode that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. The murder mystery is intriguing, and the emotional depth of Pride's storyline adds an extra layer of complexity to the episode. Fans of the show are sure to enjoy this installment.
