Ep 7. Call of Silence

They encounter much resistance from the locals in Okinawa who refuse to cooperate with their investigation due to the fragmented relationship between the U.S. military and the people of Okinawa.

Throughout the episode, we learn more about Gibbs' background in the military and the historical events that shaped his character. The storyline of Call of Silence harkens back to the experiences of the men and women of World War II who were forced to fight in foreign lands while trying to understand and respect their customs and traditions.

One of the most touching moments of the episode comes when Gibbs visits a local monastery and is given an unexpected surprise. The scene is filled with emotion as Gibbs learns some truth about a situation that he thought he had resolved years ago.

The episode was masterfully written, with each actor delivering a compelling performance. As a fan of NCIS, I particularly find this episode poignant in its portrayal of the value of loyalty and the profound impact of war on the lives of the people involved.
