In NCIS season 7 episode 11, titled “Ignition,” the story revolved around an explosion that took place in a warehouse, which resulted in Agent Gibbs and his team being called in to investigate the matter.

The episode began with the team arriving at the crime scene, where they discovered that the warehouse had been completely destroyed and two burned bodies were found at the site. Gibbs and his team suspected that the explosion was a result of a high-powered explosive device.

As the investigation progressed, the team discovered that the two victims were actually Navy officers who had been working on a high-tech torpedo project. The team met with the head of the project, Commander Reynolds, and discovered that one of the officers involved in the project, Lieutenant Sanders, had recently been fired due to his unstable behavior.

The team suspected that Sanders may have been responsible for the explosion, and they began to investigate him. They learned that Sanders had recently purchased a large amount of explosive material, and that his car had been seen in the area of the warehouse just before the explosion.

As the investigation continued, the team discovered that Sanders had a history of mental illness, and that he had been treated for PTSD after serving in Iraq. They also discovered that Sanders had a grudge against the Navy, and believed that he had been unfairly fired from the project.

Just as the team was about to arrest Sanders, they received a call that a second explosion had occurred at the Navy lab where the torpedo project was being developed. The team raced to the scene and discovered that Sanders had broken into the lab and was trying to set off another explosive device.

In a tense standoff, Gibbs and his team were able to disarm Sanders and take him into custody. They learned that Sanders had been acting alone, and that he had set off the explosions as a way to get revenge against the Navy for firing him.

Throughout the episode, there were also some interesting character developments for the members of the NCIS team. For example, Abby continued to struggle with her emotions after the death of her friend and colleague, Agent Lee. She also had to deal with some tension between herself and McGee, who had been promoted to a higher position in the team.

In addition, there were some interesting dynamics between Gibbs and Tony throughout the episode, as the two continued to work together to solve the case. Overall, “Ignition” was a thrilling episode that kept viewers on the edge of their seats, and provided some intriguing insights into the characters and their relationships.
