Ep 9. Out Of The Blue

As fans of the popular TLC show 90 Day Fiancé already know, its spinoff series, 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, follows couples as they build their relationships online and take the big leap of meeting in person for the first time. Avery is a 19-year-old from Columbus, Ohio who converted to Islam in order to be with Omar, a 24-year-old from Syria. While their love is strong, Avery is quickly realizing just how difficult it can be to navigate differing cultural norms. In episode 9, Avery's mother comes to Lebanon to express her disapproval of the match. Avery is left struggling to balance her love for Omar with her allegiance to her family.

Beyond these three couples, other cast members continue to struggle with their own challenges. Darcey is still trying to win over Tom's affections, but his heart seems to be elsewhere. Rebecca and Zied are trying to make things work despite their 20-year age difference and Rebecca's past infidelity. And Angela is still navigating the complexities of her relationship with Michael, including the fact that he may not be able to come to the United States due to ongoing visa issues.
