Ninja Nonsense is a Japanese anime series that began airing on TV Kanagawa in 2004. The show follows the story of Shinobu, a young female ninja, who travels to the city to collect knowledge and learn more about the world outside her village. Shinobu ends up in the care of Kaede, a young woman who lives in the city. The two quickly become friends and have a variety of quirky adventures together. Tomokazu Seki voices the character of Onsokumaru, a yellow ninja who is always causing mischief and getting into trouble. Shinji Kawada voices the character of Sasuke, a blue ninja who is loyal to Onsokumaru but often struggles to keep up with his antics.

Ayako Kawasumi voices the character of Kaede's younger sister, Izumi, who is often the target of Onsokumaru's pranks. Norio Wakamoto voices the character of the Great Onsokumaru, a powerful ninja who is also Onsokumaru's mentor. Taro Yamaguchi voices the character of Giri, a ninja who is always trying to impress Miyabi.

Daisuke Kirii directed the series, and it features music by Keiichi Suzuki and Toshio Masuda. The show consists of twelve episodes, each of which is approximately twenty-five minutes long.

First, the mysterious secret that Onsokumaru alluded to in episode 6 has finally come to light (thanks to a little "persuasion" from the ninjas)! The shocking truth may change everything for Shinobu... Then, Shinobu's goal of becoming a full-fledged ninja is finally within her grasp! Now she just has to pass the dreaded Ninja Graduation Exam! She'll need to use every technique that Onsokumaru's ever taught her! Her chances don't exactly look promising, do they?

11. The Lagend of Sasuke Begins

First, the real star of Ninja Nonsense finally gets his own episode! Expect more explosions, more naked girls, and more full-throttle Sasuke action! So good, you'll need to watch it a second time! Then, the ninjas are putting on a play of the "Grateful Crane" story! But how did that go again? Onsokumaru does his best to recall the classic fairy tale... but was the story meant to be twisted and perverted?

10. The Ninjas Have Christmas

First, deck the halls with ninja stars! The ninjas are having their first Christmas ever and it's up to Kaede to teach them about the holiday spirit! But what kind of gift do you get for a ninja? Then, a little "end of the year cleaning" yields a box filled with misfortune! While Kaede, Shinobu and the rest of the ninjas are subjected to one bizarre curse after another, Onsokumaru and Sasuke are left out! Hey, that's not very fair!

9. The Girls Get Warm

January 10, 2004

First, the infamous hot springs episode! Onsokumaru is foaming at the mouth for a chance to see some skin! Unfortunately, Miyabi's stationed her magical guardians in a defensive perimeter around the women's bathing area. But where there is a ninja will... there is a ninja way! Then, poor Kaede is a little under the weather. It's a good thing Shinobu and Onsokumaru are around to take care of her! Of course, Onsokumaru has his own agenda - like hitting on Kaede's mom!

8. Shinobu in Disguise

January 9, 2004

First, Kaede's school is having a festival, complete with a haunted house! Perhaps Shinobu would make a good addition, but what costume would be the best? A cat-girl? An erotic imp? Then, Shinobu's got a new pet - a cute and cuddly 15-foot tall monster plant! With ninjas, butterflies, and cats going missing, all fingers are pointing towards Shinobu's hulking piece of "cuddly" vegetation. But it couldn't possibly be responsible! Could it?

7. Onsokumaru is Stuck

January 8, 2004

First, the ball of steel finds himself literally stuck to his arch-nemesis, Miyabi! With Onsokumaru melded to her clothes, the gang is in search of a way to detach him, but it's starting to look like the only way may be... a Miyabi strip show?! Then, when the men want to play baseball, the girls need to their take sissy games someplace else! At least, that's how Onsokumaru feels, but it lands him in hot water with Kaede and Shinobu. It looks like the only way to settle this little dispute is with a baseball match! Girls versus boys!

6. A Typhoon Arrives

January 7, 2004

First, a typhoon is coming! With Shinobu stuck at Kaede's house, the ninja manor turns into a terrible sausage fest! Witness Onsokumaru's darkest hour! Then, when Onsokumaru lends his wisdom to a mushroom picking expedition, the ninjas are in for a magical ride! Especially when their tasty treats end up being poisonous and hallucinogenic!

5. Onsokumaru Goes to Hell

First, Onsokumaru gets sent to Hell! But, Hell can't be all that bad! There are demon schoolgirls, demon wives, demon in-laws... Well, the demon in-laws could be kind of bad. Also, it's too hot to train, so the ninjas have little to do but sit around and read dirty magazines... Perhaps, a little summer festival could brighten the mood!

4. Ninjas Hate The Heat

January 5, 2004

First, rising temperatures provide a perfect opportunity for Onsokumaru to get Shinobu and Kaede into in their swimsuits - and hopefully into a lusty embrace as well! Miyabi's got a crush! Will the Ninja Pharmaceutical Group's special love potion help things along? And what effect could this have on the Miyabi Fan Club?!

3. Onsokumaru Gets Angry

First, Shinobu's little sister, Miyabi, is a total brat! Onsokumaru decides it's time for a little one-on-one... just her, him, and his crocodile power-suit! Shinobu's then kicked out of the manor! Maybe Kaede's family would be interested in adopting a ninja into their family... Sister-sister bath time??

First, rainy weather drives bored ninjas into looking for the Loch Ness Monster in their pond... only to find an Onsokumaru-eating crocodile instead! Then, girl-girl dating?! Can this be allowed?! Ninja-master Onsokumaru and masked-nobleman Sasuke decide to keep a close eye on this spectacle of nature!
