Ep 4. Breaking and Entering

In episode 4 of season 3 of North Woods Law: New Hampshire, titled "Breaking and Entering," the state's conservation officers are faced with a series of challenging cases that plunge them deep into the wilderness.

The episode starts with Officer Kevin Bronson investigating reports of a burglary in progress at a remote mountain cabin. When he arrives at the scene, he finds no sign of the perpetrator, but the cabin is ransacked, and the owners' possessions are strewn about. Determined to track down the culprit, Bronson combs the area for clues and talks to local residents, hoping to find a lead. As he goes deeper into the investigation, Bronson uncovers a troubling connection between the burglary and a local drug operation, which sets him on a path to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Meanwhile, Officer Glen Lucas and his K-9 partner agree are called to a different part of the state to investigate reports of illegal trapping. When they arrive, they find a suspect who has set traps on private property, violating state law. Faced with a stubborn and uncooperative suspect, Agree and Lucas must use all of their training to diffuse the situation and prevent the suspect from causing any harm to the animals or people around him.

The episode also features the work of Officer Chris Egan, who is tasked with keeping boaters safe on the state's waterways. As Egan patrols Lake Winnipesaukee, he encounters a distressed party of boaters whose vessel has broken down in the middle of the lake. Using his expert knowledge of the area and the latest technology, Egan locates the stranded boaters and helps them get back to shore safely.

Finally, the episode spotlights Officer Joe Canfield, who responds to a call about an injured bald eagle in a remote area of the state. When Canfield arrives, he finds the eagle with a broken wing and works quickly to transport it to a local rehabilitation center, where it can receive the care it needs to recover and return to the wild.

Throughout the episode, viewers get a glimpse of the daily challenges and unique responsibilities that come with being a conservation officer in the Granite State.
