Ep 4. Boobs, Burlesque and a Crotch Tat

In the fourth episode of season three of NY Ink, entitled "Boobs, Burlesque and a Crotch Tat," viewers are introduced to a cast of characters looking to get inked at the famous tattoo shop.

Medianoche is hoping to get a tattoo of the locket on her thigh, and Ami James takes on the task, creating a lifelike recreation of the piece. As the tattoo progresses, Ami and Medianoche share stories about their families and the importance of holding onto memories and heirlooms.

The third client of the episode is a man named Davey who wants to get a tattoo on his crotch area. The tattoo is a bit controversial, as it is a portrait of a naked woman that Davey wants tattooed on his inner thigh. When he shows the design to the rest of the shop's crew, they are initially hesitant about taking on such a provocative tattoo. However, after some discussion, Ami agrees to complete the tattoo, and Davey leaves the shop happy with the finished product.

As with every episode of NY Ink, the show provides a glimpse into the lives of the tattoo artists and their clients. We see the camaraderie between the crew members as they joke and tease each other, but we also get to see the deeper connections they form with their clients. The tattoos themselves are works of art, each with its own significance and backstory.
