Offbeat America is a show where the host, Brian Unger, travels to different parts of America to showcase unique and quirky places, people and things. In this episode, season 2 episode 13, titled "Subway House and More," Brian takes us on a journey to explore some truly unusual locations in America.

The first stop on Brian's trip is a house in Kansas that has been built entirely out of old subway cars. The owners, a retired couple, purchased several old subway cars and used them as the structural foundation for their home. The interior of the house is decorated with subway memorabilia, including subway signs and old maps. Brian gets a tour of the house from the owners and marvels at the ingenuity and creativity involved in building such a unique home.

Next, Brian travels to Wisconsin to visit the world's largest ball of twine. The ball of twine was started by a man named Frank Stoeber in 1950 and has been growing ever since. Brian meets with Frank's son, who has taken over the task of adding to the ball of twine. The ball now weighs over 17,000 pounds and is over 12 feet in diameter. Brian gets a chance to help out by adding a few strands of twine to the ball himself.

In Colorado, Brian visits a man who has turned his backyard into an amusement park. The man has built several rides and attractions, including a roller coaster, a pirate ship, and a giant slide. Brian gets to try out some of the rides and even gets to operate the roller coaster's brake system. The backyard amusement park is a labor of love for the man who built it and is a hit with the locals.

In Ohio, Brian visits a man who has turned his front yard into a miniature golf course. The course is made up of homemade obstacles and is free for the public to play. The man who built the course is passionate about mini golf and has even started hosting tournaments in his yard. Brian tries out some of the holes and has a lot of fun.

Finally, Brian travels to New York to visit a man who has turned an old abandoned gas station into a work of art. The man has painted the entire station in bright, bold colors and has created several sculptures from old car parts. The gas station has become a landmark in the area and is a popular spot for tourists to take photos.

Overall, "Subway House and More" is a fun and entertaining episode of Offbeat America that showcases some truly unique and interesting places in America.
