Offbeat America Season 2 Episode 2 takes us on a journey through the colorful and quirky world of pop art. Hosted by Erik Hastings, the episode explores unique, offbeat homes that showcase the bold and vibrant aesthetic of pop art.

The first stop on our tour is the Pop Art House in southern Florida. This bright and playful home is owned by artist and designer Melanie Prapopoulos, who has adorned every inch of the house with her signature pop art style. From the living room walls covered in colorful geometric shapes to the retro-inspired kitchen and dining area, this house is a pop art lover's dream come true.

Next up, we travel to New Jersey to visit Steven and Sylvia Smith's Comic Book House. This couple has spent over two decades collecting and curating an extensive collection of comic books, which now line the walls of their home. The Smiths have incorporated their love of comics into every aspect of their décor, from the custom-made superhero-themed furniture to the hand-painted murals on the walls.

Our third stop is the Museum of Bad Art in Somerville, Massachusetts. This museum is dedicated to collecting and showcasing art that is "too bad to be ignored." The museum's founder, Scott Wilson, takes us on a tour of some of the museum's most infamous pieces, including a portrait of Elvis made entirely out of butter and a painting of a poodle that looks more like a potato.

Moving on, we visit the House on the Rock in Wisconsin, a sprawling complex that is home to a wide variety of oddities and curiosities. From a giant replica of Frank Lloyd Wright's falling water house to the world's largest indoor carousel, this house is a testament to one man's eccentric vision. The House on the Rock also features a number of pop art-inspired exhibits, including a room lined with vintage Coca-Cola signs and a massive mural made entirely out of gum.

Our final stop is the Cosanti Foundation in Arizona, the brainchild of famed architect Paolo Soleri. The foundation is dedicated to exploring the possibilities of "arcology," a concept that combines architecture and ecology to create sustainable living spaces. The foundation's main attraction is Arcosanti, a experimental community built around Soleri's vision of a city that is both functional and beautiful.

Offbeat America Season 2 Episode 2 is an unforgettable journey through some of the most unique and colorful homes in the country. Whether you're a fan of pop art or just appreciate the offbeat and unusual, this episode is sure to leave you inspired and entertained.
