Ep 1. I Hear You, I See You

The second season of Parenthood picks up where the previous one left off, with the Braverman family continuing to navigate the challenges and joys of everyday life. In the season premiere episode, entitled "I Hear You, I See You," the family is still reeling from the news that Max (Max Burkholder), the son of Adam (Peter Krause) and Kristina (Monica Potter), has Asperger's syndrome. As they try to come to grips with Max's diagnosis, they struggle to figure out how to best support him and help him succeed in life.

Meanwhile, Sarah (Lauren Graham) is still trying to find her way in life. She's working at a bar and living with her parents, and she's feeling frustrated and lost. But then she meets a photographer named Mark (Jason Ritter) who seems to understand her in a way that no one else has before. As they begin to forge a connection, Sarah wonders if she's finally found someone who can help her figure out where she belongs.

Elsewhere, Crosby (Dax Shepard) is still adjusting to life as a father. He's taken on more responsibility with his son, Jabbar (Tyree Brown), and he's trying to be more present in his life. But he's also still struggling with commitment issues, which puts a strain on his relationship with Jasmine (Joy Bryant).

Finally, Julia (Erika Christensen) and Joel (Sam Jaeger) are trying to navigate the ups and downs of life with a new baby. They're both working full-time, and they're struggling to find time to be together and connect as a family. But as they work through their challenges and try to create a life they can be proud of, they realize that they have each other and their family to lean on.

As the episode unfolds, the Braverman family comes together to support one another through the challenges of everyday life. They may not always see eye to eye, and they may not always agree on everything, but they're a family, and they're there for each other when it counts. "I Hear You, I See You" is a moving and heartfelt episode that sets the stage for the rest of the season.
