The episode begins with Ryuji Sakamoto, one of the members of the Phantom Thieves, getting kidnapped by the Shadow Madarame. He is taken to Madarame's Palace, a large and ornate museum filled with art and sculptures. Madarame, an artist, has stolen the works of his students and passed them off as his own, leading him to become corrupt and evil.
The rest of the Phantom Thieves, led by their leader Ren Amamiya, also known as Joker, are determined to rescue Ryuji and put an end to Madarame's evil doings. They enter the Palace disguised as art pieces and begin exploring the elaborate and confusing hallways.
Meanwhile, Ryuji is being held captive by Madarame and his Shadow minions. He tries to talk to Madarame, hoping to reason with him and make him understand the error of his ways. However, Madarame is too far gone and refuses to listen.
As the Phantom Thieves make their way through the Palace, they encounter various traps and obstacles. They use their Personas, manifestations of their inner selves, to fight off Shadow enemies and navigate the maze-like structure.
Eventually, they reach Madarame's throne room and engage in a battle with him and his Shadow form. The battle is intense and filled with twists and turns, but the Phantom Thieves are ultimately able to emerge victorious.
After freeing Ryuji, they confront Madarame and make him confess to his crimes. They steal his "Treasure," the physical manifestation of his distorted desires, and watch as the Palace crumbles around them.
As the episode ends, the Phantom Thieves emerge from the Palace and reflect on their victory. However, they know that there are still other corrupt individuals out there who must be stopped. They vow to continue their mission and make the world a better place.
"He Is My Other Self" is a thrilling and action-packed episode that showcases the strengths of the Phantom Thieves. The elaborate Palace and intense battles are visually stunning, and the story highlights the importance of standing up to corruption and fighting for what is right.
