Ep 5. The City Girl

In the remote town of Port Protection, Alaska, winter is fast approaching, and the residents are busy preparing for the long, dark months ahead. In season 4, episode 5, titled "The City Girl," we meet Heidi, a new resident who moved to Port Protection from the big city. As a newcomer, Heidi has a lot to learn about the unique challenges of living off the grid in such a remote location.

As the sun sets on another day in Port Protection, Heidi reflects on the challenges and rewards of living in such a remote location. While it can be tough at times, she realizes that the sense of community and connection she feels with her neighbors is worth the effort. She knows that whatever the winter may bring, she will face it together with her new friends and neighbors in Port Protection.
