Buster's Buffalo Round-Up is the ninth episode of the first season of Postcards from Buster. In this episode, Buster, the animated rabbit, travels to Rapid City, South Dakota to learn about buffalo and Native American culture.

Buster arrives in Rapid City and is greeted by his friend, Sam. Sam is a Native American boy and takes Buster on a tour of the city. They go to a Native American gift shop where they learn about traditional Native American clothing and artifacts. Buster tries on a headdress and dances around the shop.

Next, Sam takes Buster to see some buffalo. They meet a wildlife biologist who tells them about the history of buffalo in the area and how they were nearly extinct. Buster and Sam get to see the buffalo up close and even feed them.

After their visit with the buffalo, Sam and Buster head to a Native American powwow. They learn about the different dances and regalia worn by the dancers. Buster is fascinated by the music and dances along with the other children.

The next day, Buster and Sam attend the buffalo roundup. This is an annual event where ranchers gather their buffalo from the surrounding area. They do this to check on their health and count the new calves. Buster and Sam get to ride in a pickup truck and watch as cowboys on horseback round up the buffalo. They even get to help with a few of the tasks.

Later, Sam takes Buster to a Native American museum where they learn about more about the history and culture of the Lakota Sioux people. They see traditional clothing, artwork, and artifacts. Buster even gets to try some traditional Lakota food.
