Princess Knight season 1 episode 1, titled "Princess Knight", introduces us to the kingdom of Silverland, where a new baby has just been born to the king and queen. But this is no ordinary baby - it's a girl, and in Silverland, only boys can inherit the throne. Nevertheless, the king and queen decide to keep this fact a secret, and raise their daughter, Sapphire, as a boy.
Growing up, Sapphire is trained in the art of sword fighting and other masculine pursuits, while also learning the duties of a prince. But as she approaches her 16th birthday, the truth about her gender is at risk of being discovered, and her parents make plans to marry her off to a wealthy prince and reveal the truth to him.
Meanwhile, the evil Duke Duralumin is plotting to take over Silverland, and sees Sapphire as a threat to his plans. He sends his minions to capture her, but Sapphire escapes and dons her "Silver Knight" disguise, intent on protecting her kingdom and her parents' secret.
As the episode unfolds, we see Sapphire struggling to balance her duties as a prince and her desire to be true to herself. She deals with the jealousy of her younger brother, who resents her position as the heir to the throne, as well as the doubts of her fellow knights, who question her skills and her commitment to their cause.
But Sapphire has a pure heart and an unshakeable determination, and as the episode ends, she proves herself a hero, rescuing a kidnapped prince and defeating Duke Duralumin's minions in a thrilling battle. She returns to the palace, exhausted but triumphant, and is welcomed back with open arms by her parents, who are proud of their daughter's bravery and honor.
Overall, "Princess Knight" sets the stage for an exciting and action-packed season, full of twists and turns, as Sapphire navigates the challenges of being a princess in a world that sees her as a prince. It's a tale of courage, identity, and love, with an inspiring heroine at its center.
