Ep 2. The Future is Here

In season 17 episode 2 of Project Runway, titled "The Future is Here," the remaining designers are challenged to create a look inspired by the future. They are tasked with incorporating technology and innovation into their designs, using materials such as LED lights, holographic fabrics, and 3D printing.

The judges critique each look, examining how successfully the designers incorporated technology and futuristic elements.

Throughout the episode, viewers also get a glimpse into the personal lives of the designers, with some discussing their families, backgrounds, and inspirations. In particular, Hester, a designer known for her quirky and colorful designs, opens up about her struggles with depression and anxiety and how fashion has provided an outlet for her emotions.

In the end, one designer is crowned the winner of the challenge, while another is eliminated. The remaining designers continue on to the next challenge, eager to see what new obstacles and opportunities await them on Project Runway.
