Raw Travel is back for its sixth season, and the first episode takes us to the Gangwon Province in South Korea.

Gangwon Province is situated in the northeastern part of South Korea and is famous for its natural beauty, rich culture, and fantastic food. In this episode, viewers get to experience all of it.

The show kicks off with host Robert Rose exploring the capital city of Gangwon Province, Chuncheon. Robert strolls around the city, taking in the beautiful architecture, vibrant street art, and bustling markets. He then visits one of the city's most popular attractions, the Soyang River Skywalk, which is a glass-walled bridge that stretches over the breathtaking Soyang River.

Next up, Robert heads to one of Korea's most famous ski resorts, Yongpyong Ski Resort. Gangwon Province is home to several ski resorts, and Yongpyong is the largest of them all. The resort has hosted several international skiing events, including the 2018 Winter Olympics. In this episode, he visits a local restaurant and tries some of the region's most famous dishes, including bulgogi, bibimbap, and kimchi. He also goes behind the scenes to learn how kimchi, Korea's famous fermented vegetable dish, is made.

Aside from its natural beauty and delicious food, Gangwon Province is also known for its rich cultural heritage. Robert visits one of the region's traditional Korean villages, Namsan Village. The village features restored traditional houses dating back to the Joseon Dynasty. Robert immerses himself in Korean culture by trying on a traditional Korean hanbok and participating in a traditional tea ceremony.

Finally, Robert visits the Gangneung Coastal Biosphere Reserve, a protected area along the coast of Gangwon Province. The reserve is home to a wide range of plant and animal species and provides an important breeding ground for marine mammals. Robert explores the area and learns about the importance of preserving and protecting these valuable ecosystems.
