Daniel struggles with his new found freedom and confronts a dark truth about his past. Meanwhile, Ted Jr. starts to fill the emotional void left by Tawney by reaching out to his ex-girlfriend. Janet decides to take matters into her own hands regarding the investigation into Daniel's case, while Amantha tries to move forward with her life by reaching out to someone from her past. Throughout the episode, it becomes increasingly clear that the characters are grappling with their own personal demons as they try to navigate the complex emotions and relationships surrounding them.
