Ep 1. A School for Fairy Tales

Regal Academy is a show about the adventures of a teenage girl named Rose Cinderella who is trying to navigate her way through a school that teaches fairy tale characters how to be heroes. In season 1, episode 1 titled "A School for Fairy Tales," viewers are introduced to Rose, who is a normal girl until she receives an unexpected invitation to attend Regal Academy, a school founded by the legendary Snow White.

As soon as she arrives at the school, Rose learns that her life is about to change forever. The school is filled with fairy tale characters including Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Rapunzel, who are now all teachers at the academy. Rose soon discovers that the school is not just a place for learning, as she and her classmates are regularly called upon to take part in dangerous missions in order to protect the fairy tale world from an evil sorceress named E.V.I.L.

The episode begins with Rose, who lives with her grandmother, out shopping in the market when she sees a pair of shoes she really wants. However, she can't afford them, and her grandmother can't buy them for her. All of a sudden, a mysterious carriage appears out of nowhere, and a man steps out offering her a scholarship to attend Regal Academy. It all seems too good to be true, but Rose can't resist the opportunity to attend the school and learn more about the world of fairy tales.

When she arrives at the school with her grandmother, Rose discovers that it's not what she expected. The school is huge and grand, with towers, castle walls and even a moat with live alligators. The students are also very different, being from various fairy tale backgrounds including princes and princesses, while Regal Academy even has its own versions of classic story characters such as Hawk, a younger and more hip version of Little Red Riding Hood.

As Rose begins to explore the school and meet her new classmates, she discovers that there is a lot more to life at Regal Academy than just attending classes. She learns that her teachers are all legendary fairy tale characters themselves, including the likes of Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Rapunzel, among others. They all happen to be descendants of famous fairy tale characters and have inherited enchanting powers which they teach their students.

In addition to the usual challenges of starting at a new school, Rose and her classmates are tasked with completing quests in order to earn points for their respective houses. This competition is overseen by Rose's grandmother, who is the headmistress of the academy. During one of these quests, Rose is tasked with retrieving an enchanted apple from the terrifying Enchanted Forest.

As expected the forest is dark, scary, and filled with all sorts of magical creatures such as giant spiders and dragons. In the midst of it, Rose manages to befriend a dragon named Cyrus. Although she gets lost along the way, Rose eventually manages to retrieve the apple and earn points for her team, the Snow Whites which pleased her grandmother and proves to the other students that she is a force to be reckoned with.

Overall, Regal Academy season 1 episode 1 provides viewers with a glimpse into the exciting and fantastical world of fairy tales like never seen before. It showcases Rose's adventure in a school that stirs the imagination of every fan who adores fairy tale characters in an entirely new way while also highlighting the importance of teamwork and never giving up even in the face of adversity.
