Rise of the machines is the third Terminator film in the trilogy. This time, a robotic warrior from the post-apocalyptic future is sent back in time to protect a young drifter along with his future wife, from a robotic assassin, and to save them from a nuclear attack.

John Connor, who survived the attacks in Terminator 2, has now become a drifter, believing this to be the safest way to be undetected by any future Terminators. Unfortunately for him, he has been found and is being both hunted down by one of the most powerful terminators and protected by a lesser model. Being introduced to his future wife, as she too needs protection, they face the nuclear war together that leads onto the war against the machines.

This film once again has to prove that being a more powerful terminator does not always win the battle of the machines. It seems the older model has more cunning and experience to protect our young warriors.
