Ep 18. Please Do Not Notify Our Contractors

Please Do Not Notify Our Contractors is the 18th episode of the fourth season of Robot Chicken. The episode kicks off with a parody of The Lion King in which Scar has an unconventional plan to become the ruler of the Pridelands.

The episode then moves on to a sketch where two astronauts express their frustrations with their very talkative onboard computer. Another sketch features a spot-on parody of the classic game show The Price is Right. In this sketch, host Bob Barker, dressed as a vampire, presides over a game show in which contestants bid on a variety of supernatural prizes.

Another sketch features a boy who makes a homemade hovercraft to impress a girl. The hovercraft malfunctions and sends him on a wild ride through the school halls. The episode also includes a hilarious take on The Muppets, in which the furry puppets reminisce about their time on the big screen, while also discussing the unsavory side of Hollywood.

In one sketch, Dracula endures a series of grizzly accidents while attempting to prepare dinner in his kitchen. Additionally, the episode includes a parody of The Incredible Hulk in which Bruce Banner's alter ego is simply too polite, apologizing profusely every time he's asked to leave a building.

In a separate sketch, a group of Smurfs reveals that they've been hiding a deep, dark secret. The episode's title sketch takes place in a corporate boardroom in which a group of contractors discusses the details of some recent company layoffs. Things take a hilarious turn when the contractors realize they may have been a bit too hasty in making some of their recent cutbacks.

The episode also features a parody of Indiana Jones, in which the famed adventurer must retrieve an artifact from deep within a snow-covered land. One sketch features a young superhero named "The Flash" who is not quite as speedy as his name suggests.

Finally, the episode concludes with a parody of horror movie trailers, in which the narrator hysterically warns the audience about the dangers lurking in the film they're about to see. With its wild variety of sketches and offbeat humor, Please Do Not Notify Our Contractors is a standout episode of Robot Chicken's fourth season.
