Ep 10. Rad Rover Come Over / Extreme Nerd

In Rocket Power season 3 episode 10, "Rad Rover Come Over / Extreme Nerd," the gang is split up into two separate storylines.

In the first half of the episode, "Rad Rover Come Over," Otto is excited to show off his new motorized skateboard, the Rad Rover, to his friends. However, when they all gather at his house, they quickly become frustrated with the noise and distraction the Rad Rover causes. The gang decides to take matters into their own hands and confiscate the Rad Rover, hiding it in the garage. Otto is devastated and feels betrayed by his friends, but with some encouragement from his dad, he realizes that his love for skateboarding doesn't rely solely on the Rad Rover and that his friends were just looking out for him.

In the second half of the episode, "Extreme Nerd," Twister is feeling left out when he's unable to participate in a skateboarding competition due to a broken wrist. To make matters worse, he's stuck at home with nothing to do while his friends are out having fun. When he gets a package in the mail containing a brand new video game, he becomes completely engrossed in it and transforms into a gaming "nerd." However, his playstyle takes a toll on his health, and when his friends come to check on him, they realize how much he's been neglecting himself. They convince him to take a break and get some fresh air, helping him to realize that he doesn't have to be good at everything to fit in.

Overall, "Rad Rover Come Over / Extreme Nerd" is an episode about the ups and downs of friendship, exploring what happens when one person's passion clashes with another's, and learning to embrace new interests without losing sight of what's most important.
