Samantha Brown's Great Weekends is a travel series that takes audiences on a journey around the world as host Samantha Brown explores popular and hidden gems of some of the most beautiful cities and towns. In season 3 episode 7, titled Samantha Brown's Vancouver, Samantha is on a mission to discover all the amazing things Vancouver, British Columbia, has to offer.

Samantha Brown starts her adventure by taking a stroll through Vancouver's famous Stanley Park, a 1,000-acre park located in the heart of the city. As she walks along the park's seawall, she takes in the breathtaking views of the North Shore Mountains, downtown Vancouver, Lions Gate Bridge, and English Bay. She also stops by the park's handful of attractions, including the totem poles, beautiful rose garden and a green oasis in Vancouver.

Next, Samantha ventures to the renowned Granville Island Public Market, a colorful marketplace featuring local produce, fresh seafood, exotic spices, artisanal cheese, meat, and more. She goes behind the scenes to meet the vendors and learn about their incredible products, traditions and techniques. Later, she takes part in a cooking class where she learns to make the famous Vancouver dish of salmon and slider bun, buoyed by local drinks brewed in Canada.

Samantha then sets out to explore Gastown, the city's oldest neighborhood, with vintage architecture and cobblestone streets. She visits the iconic steam clock and discovers the district's many boutiques, galleries, and restaurants, that keep alive the local vibe. She also immerses herself in the neighborhood's history as she steps into the oldest building in Vancouver - Hotel Europe.

In the afternoon, Samantha heads to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park that is a 230-foot-long and 130-feet-high suspension bridge offers spectacular views of the lush temperate rainforest, plunging cliffs and waterfalls. She manages to cross the bridge and also explores the Treetops Adventure, a series of elevated boardwalks high up in the trees, providing another perspective of the rainforest.

Lastly, Samantha takes a short ferry ride from Vancouver to Bowen Island, a tranquil community and an escape from the city - just 20 minutes away. She hikes up Mount Gardner, where she enjoys panoramic views of Howe Sound and the Gulf Islands. Afterward, she explores the quaint village of Snug Cove and samples some of Bowen Island's unique local products.

In Samantha Brown's Vancouver episode, viewers can anticipate an adventure-packed tour of Vancouver, with beautiful landscape, delicious culinary delights, cultural wealth and historical attractions.
