Ep 4. Cease and De-cyst

In this episode of Save My Skin, season 1 episode 4 named Cease and De-cyst, we follow the journey of two patients seeking the expertise of renowned dermatologist Dr. Emma Craythorne. She schedules Sophie for a new and innovative surgery that will require a small incision to drain the cyst and remove its contents gradually. Sophie is excited about the prospects of finally being cyst-free, but understandably anxious about this new surgical approach.

The second patient, Anthony, has had a series of red bumps appearing on his arms and legs. The bumps tend to itch and break open, causing him pain and discomfort. After seeking the opinion of several other dermatologists, Anthony was told that these were "just bug bites" and that there was nothing wrong with him. However, after months of agony, he decided to see Dr. Craythorne, who gives him a proper diagnosis of a rare condition called papular-purpuric gloves and socks syndrome, which is caused by a viral infection.

Dr. Craythorne performs a thorough examination of Anthony and prescribes medications to help his symptoms subside. She assures him that with time and proper care, the condition should gradually go away.

Throughout this episode, we see Dr. Craythorne's tireless dedication to her patients' well-being, seeking alternative treatment options and working tirelessly to ensure their speedy recovery.
