Ep 7. General Store

Johnny and Moira Rose's wild ride in Schitt's Creek continues in season 3 episode 7, titled "General Store." Elsewhere in Schitt's Creek, David is trying to make headway with his new career as a clerk at the general store. Meanwhile, Alexis is trying to get over her breakup with Mutt. She turns to her new frenemy Twyla for support, but soon discovers that she might have made a mistake.

As with all episodes of Schitt's Creek, "General Store" balances comedy with moments of real emotional depth. Though it's often hilarious to watch the Roses' ineptitude in the face of small-town living, there's also a real sadness to their situation. However, the show never wallows in self-pity. Instead, it uses the Roses' setbacks as a way to explore what's really important in life - family, friendship, and a sense of community.
