JD and Turk are in the middle of one of their shenanigans, trying to find a new apartment that they could share together. Meanwhile, Elliot is struggling to make a decision about whether or not she should keep dating her hunky boyfriend, Sean, or her trusty ex-boyfriend, J.D.

Dr. Kelso is up in arms because the hospital is losing money, as usual. He announces that he will be cutting the budget on almost everything, including scrubs.

Carla starts dating a new guy who seems to be perfect, but she's unsure of how to progress the relationship.
