Ep 8. My Fruit Cups

In Scrubs season 2 episode 8, entitled "My Fruit Cups," the medical staff at Sacred Heart Hospital are pushing through a busy day with various patients. JD continues to struggle with his undefined relationship with Elliot and the two become inseparable as they work together on a case involving a patient with a unique ailment. Turk and his attendants try to diagnose a patient who can not speak English and doesn't understand their medical language. However, they quickly learn she may know more than they thought. Carla helps a patient's worried daughter cope with her mom's illness, and hence she is forced to squat the day, urging her to come to terms with certain situations. Meanwhile, Dr. Cox takes some time off his patients to attend to an important matter, and Kelso offers an interesting dinner suggestion to a group of doctors. The episode progresses in a typical Scrubs fashion with a balance of humor and touching moments as the characters navigate the ups and downs of the medical profession. With "My Fruit Cups," Scrubs once again delivers a solid episode that is both entertaining and thought-provoking.
