Ep 8. My Friend the Doctor

In this episode of Scrubs, titled "My Friend the Doctor," we find JD and Turk on a mission to impress their idol, Dr. Wen, who is visiting the hospital to give a lecture. Despite their best efforts to get closer to him, the two best friends struggle to impress the renowned doctor.

Dr. Cox, on the other hand, is dealing with a difficult patient who seems to have an undiagnosable illness. He spends most of the episode trying to figure out what is wrong with him, while also dealing with the patient's constant complaints and demands.

Throughout the episode, we see the dynamic relationships between the staff at Sacred Heart Hospital. JD and Turk's friendship is put to the test as they try to impress their hero, Elliot learns some tough lessons about the realities of private practice, and Dr. Cox is reminded of the challenges that come with being a doctor.

As always, Scrubs delivers a perfect balance of humor and heart in this episode.
