Scrubs Season 5 Episode 16 My Bright Idea

J.D. comes up with a bright idea for preventing infections in the hospital, but is disappointed when Dr. Cox shoots down his plan. In an effort to prove his theory, J.D. gathers data and studies the effects of his idea. Meanwhile, Turk and Elliot struggle to find their place in their new roles as chief of surgery and senior attending. Turk struggles with the pressure of the job while Elliot tries to balance her new responsibilities with her personal life. As the episode progresses, J.D. and Turk team up to try and implement J.D.'s idea, but face obstacles from their superior, Dr. Kelso. Meanwhile, Elliot struggles to balance her new responsibilities with her relationship troubles.
