Shut Eye Season 1 Episode 8 Five of Cups

Charlie Haverford, the main character of the show, finds himself in a difficult situation in episode 8 of season 1 of Shut Eye, titled Five of Cups. After having been caught in the middle of a feud between a Romanian gang and the Marks family, Charlie is now indebted to the gang and must repay them in one week's time.

Meanwhile, Linda, Charlie's wife, has discovered that she is pregnant and is struggling with whether or not to keep the baby. She confides in one of her clients, a spiritual healer named Gina, who tells her to listen to her heart and trust her instincts. Linda also begins to suspect that Charlie is cheating on her with his ex-girlfriend, and enlists the help of her sister to spy on him.

As Charlie tries to figure out a way to come up with the money to pay the gang, he turns to his sister-in-law for help. She tells him that she can get him a fake ID that will help him get into the casino and count cards, which will allow him to win big and pay off his debt. Charlie is hesitant at first, but ultimately goes through with the plan.

At the casino, Charlie runs into a man named Fonzo, who he met earlier in the season. Fonzo is now working as a dealer at the casino and offers to help Charlie count the cards. They team up and start winning big, but their luck soon runs out when a security guard catches them and they are forced to make a run for it.

Meanwhile, Linda confronts Charlie about his affair and he finally admits to it. Linda is heartbroken and tells Charlie that she wants a divorce. She also tells him that she is going to keep the baby, regardless of his feelings about it.

As the episode comes to a close, Charlie is on the run from the gang and Linda is trying to move forward without him. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers anxious to see what happens next.
