Ep 5. Action

Clark gets an invitation from Oliver Queen, aka Green Arrow, to attend the opening of his new headquarters. Meanwhile, the budding relationship between Lois and Oliver takes a turn for the worse when a girl from Oliver's past shows up and reveals a shocking secret. In an effort to distract himself from the drama, Clark agrees to go on a night out in Metropolis with Chloe and Jimmy. However, their night out takes an unexpected turn when they stumble upon a robbery in progress. Clark springs into action, but discovers that he may not be the only hero in town when he crosses paths with the mysterious superhero known as the Black Canary. As they work together to stop the villains, Clark becomes enamored with the Black Canary's abilities and begins to suspect that there may be more to her than meets the eye. Meanwhile, back in Smallville, Lana is confronted by her own superhero struggles when she discovers that one of Lex's experiments has given her new powers beyond her control. As she struggles to come to terms with her new abilities, Lana begins to fear that she may be more dangerous than she ever imagined. With multiple battles taking place and secrets being revealed, the episode titled "Action" is a thrilling ride from start to finish.
