Ep 4. Echo

Clark Kent grapples with his identity as he navigates through his senior year of high school while figuring out who he truly is and what his purpose in life may be. In season 9 episode 4, entitled "Echo," Clark must face one of his toughest opponents yet as he goes up against a telekinetic villain who can control minds with ease.

Meanwhile, Lois is assigned to cover the story of the telekinetic woman, and she becomes personally involved when the woman starts to manipulate her mind as well. Lois is forced to face her own emotions and fears as she tries to outsmart the telekinetic woman and protect herself and others.

As the episode comes to a close, Clark and Lois have a heart-to-heart conversation about their feelings for each other. Clark admits that he's scared of getting involved with Lois because she means so much to him, but they both realize that they don't want to let fear hold them back. They share a sweet moment as they prepare to face whatever challenges lie ahead.

Overall, "Echo" is an intense and emotional episode of Smallville that explores the themes of love, fear, and identity.
