Ep 10. Wolf and the Swirling Plot

As Lawrence and Holo make their way to Renos, they encounter a group of people who mistake Holo for a sacred pagan wolf of their land. Lawrence convinces them that Holo is a mere traveling companion, and they are allowed to pass. Once in town, Lawrence meets with his client, who reveals that the census they hired him to conduct is related to the discovery of silver in the area. However, he also reveals that there are others who are interested in the silver, and Lawrence soon finds himself embroiled in a dangerous game of politics and manipulation. Meanwhile, Holo becomes fascinated with a swirling vortex in a nearby river, which she believes has mystical properties.
